Pass through Costs for Business Electricity Customers
Go Power strive to help all customers understand their tariffs and how it is calculated for Commercial premises. For Businesses, quotes and tariffs are built based on a combination of factors. These factors are detailed below;
The unit price (i.e. the kilowatt hour (kWh) rate)
The charges in the Go Power electricity supply contract includes both the Go Power energy charges and regulated pass- through charges. The contract will state what type of contract it is. This may be; Cost Plus, Fully Fixed Energy Price and and Fixed Energy Tariff. As specified in the contract the pass through cost will only change with approval by the regulator, the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU). The pass- through charges charged by ESB Networks, Eirgrid and the Single Energy Market Operator (SEMO) for the 2017- 2018 have been approved by the CRU, and the net impact of the various changes to the contract prices are detailed in the attachment.
In addition, The CRU has also reviewed PSO levy for 2017- 2018, there will be increased charges for all customers. These charges will be stated in the attachment.
Non- Energy charges as defined by the CRU & SEMO are: DUoS, TUoS, SEMO Capacity, SEMO Market Operator Charges and SEMO Imperfection Charges.
